Steampunk Apocalypse: The Camp of the Saints, Biblical UFOs & Mount Meru-Zion

Part 1: The Camp of the Saints – The Last Brass Holdout

🚨 The gears are grinding. The smoke is rising. The final siege has begun.

Deep in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 20, after the Millennium, Satan is released from his prison for a “little season.” What follows is one of the most cinematic and terrifying scenes in the entire Bible:

“And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”

 Revelation 20:9 (KJV)

This is the ultimate encirclement. Vast multitudes referred to as Gog and Magog  march from the four corners of the earth like a relentless mechanical army. They surround the last stronghold of the faithful: the Camp of the Saints and the beloved city. No escape. No retreat. Just an overwhelming siege… until divine fire rains down from above and consumes the invaders.

But what if this scene isn’t purely ethereal or symbolic? What if it’s a steampunk apocalypse playing out in real time..brass, copper, iron, steam, fire, and impossible machinery that ancient prophets could only describe using the limited words they had?

The Steampunk Vision of the Last Days

Imagine it:

Massive brass-plated war engines and iron-wheeled juggernauts rolling across the land, belching black smoke.

Clockwork legions marching in perfect synchronization.

Enormous airships hovering overhead, cloaked in thick clouds of glowing steam and soot.

Gigantic wheels within wheels, spinning with eyes all around, moving in any direction without turning  exactly as Ezekiel described in his vision.

The Bible repeatedly shows us scenes that sound less like magic and more like misunderstood advanced technology. Chariots of fire. Pillars of cloud by day and pillars of fire by night. Whirlwinds that lift prophets into the sky. Glowing clouds that descend on mountains with thunder, lightning, smoke, and the sound of trumpets.

Ancient people didn’t have words for “spaceship,” “drone swarm,” or “plasma propulsion.” So they called them chariots, clouds, and glory. But the details remain eerily consistent: objects that move with intelligence, provide guidance and protection, emit intense light and heat, and deliver overwhelming power from the sky.

In this reading, the fire from heaven that saves the Camp of the Saints could be the blazing exhaust ports of descending steampunk-style craft.. fiery mechanical chariots enforcing divine judgment against the forces of deception.

Who Is the Camp of the Saints?

Many believe this “camp” represents the final gathering of true believers... a spiritual and possibly even physical remnant who have not bowed to the great end-times deception. They are surrounded on all sides by:

Cultural and moral collapse

Engineered chaos and division

A global system that demands total allegiance

Yet they hold their ground.

In the steampunk-apocalypse lens, the Camp of the Saints are the ones who see through the illusion. While the world cheers for “benevolent visitors” descending in clouds of light, the remnant recognizes the brass gears and copper pipes behind the spectacle. They understand that what looks like salvation from the sky might actually be the greatest counterfeit in history.

This isn’t distant future speculation for many watchers. The siege feels like it’s intensifying right now, with truth-seekers being marginalized, censored, and surrounded by waves of confusion.

The Stage Is Set

This single verse in Revelation ties together everything we’re about to explore in this series:

The identity and protection of the Camp of the Saints

Biblical UFOs reinterpreted as steampunk-style aerial vehicles (chariots of fire, pillars of cloud, wheels within wheels)

The cosmic mountain portal..where Mount Meru of ancient tradition is secretly Mount Zion, the axis of the universe and landing site of heavenly craft

The full unfolding of the Steampunk Apocalypse

The Bible doesn’t read like dusty theology here. It reads like a high-stakes, brass-and-steam operational manual for the end of the age.

Part 2: Biblical UFOs – The Real Cloud People, Brass Chariots & Steampunk Glory

🚨 If the Camp of the Saints is the final holdout… then what exactly is coming down from the sky to either save or deceive them?

The Bible is absolutely packed with aerial phenomena that sound less like poetry and more like eyewitness reports of advanced craft. Ancient people had no language for drones, plasma drives, or motherships.. so they described them using the closest things they knew: clouds, fire, chariots, and glory. But when you look closer, the mechanical, steampunk details become impossible to ignore.

The Pillar of Cloud & Fire: The Original Command Ship

During the Exodus, the Israelites weren’t following a normal weather cloud:

“And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light.” (Exodus 13:21)

This pillar moved on command, stood between the Israelites and Pharaoh’s army, and filled the Tabernacle with such intense glory that Moses himself couldn’t enter. It descended on Mount Sinai with thunder, lightning, thick smoke, and the sound of a trumpet so loud the people trembled.

In steampunk terms? A massive brass-and-copper dirigible or hovering command vessel. Daytime: cloaked in thick steam and smoke clouds. Nighttime: glowing furnace-like engines blazing like molten metal. The “fire” wasn’t random..it was propulsion and lighting from an otherworldly machine.

Ezekiel’s Clockwork Vision: Wheels Within Wheels

The most detailed “UFO” report in the Bible comes from the prophet Ezekiel:

“I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north, an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal… Each of the creatures had the face of a human being, the face of a lion… an ox… and an eagle. Their wings touched one another… beside each creature was a wheel… a wheel intersecting a wheel… Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around.” (Ezekiel 1)

This is pure steampunk engineering.

Wheels within wheels = interlocking brass gears and gyroscopic mechanisms that allow movement in any direction without turning.

Full of eyes = portholes, cameras, or glowing rivets.

Living creatures with four faces = perhaps pilots, holographic projections, or hybrid biomechanical entities.

Glowing metal and fire = advanced metallurgy and propulsion systems.

Ezekiel wasn’t hallucinating. He was describing a massive mechanical throne-chariot descending through the clouds — exactly the kind of craft that would later be called a “UFO.”

Chariots of Fire & Ascension Tech

Elijah was taken to heaven in a chariot of fire and horses of fire in a whirlwind (2 Kings 2:11).

Elisha’s servant suddenly saw the hills filled with horses and chariots of fire protecting them (2 Kings 6:17).

Jesus ascended into a cloud and the angels promised He would return the same way (Acts 1:9-11).

The Son of Man will come “on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” (Matthew 24:30).

In the steampunk-apocalypse lens, these are not fluffy white clouds. They are smoke-and-steam cloaking systems hiding brass airships and fiery mechanical chariots. The same technology that guided Moses, spoke to Ezekiel, and will one day intervene for the Camp of the Saints.

The Cloud People Are Already Here

Modern UFO/UAP sightings — glowing orbs, metallic craft, objects descending in clouds, impossible maneuvers, match the biblical descriptions with eerie precision. What if the “Cloud People” (the entities operating these craft) have been interacting with humanity for thousands of years? Sometimes as “angels of light,” sometimes as gods, sometimes as watchers.

In the end times, these same forces may stage the ultimate deception, descending on the Camp of the Saints with promises of peace while the siege tightens. Only the remnant who studied the ancient texts will recognize the brass gears turning behind the glorious light show.

Part 3: Mount Meru = Mount Zion – The Brass Portal & Cosmic Landing Site

🚨 Every great story needs a headquarters. In the Steampunk Apocalypse, that headquarters is a mountain that serves as both a divine throne and a cosmic docking station.

While the Camp of the Saints stands surrounded (Part 1) and strange brass-and-steam craft fill the skies (Part 2), the Bible and ancient traditions point to one sacred location where heaven and earth repeatedly collide: the cosmic mountain.

Mount Meru: The Axis of the Universe

In Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain traditions, Mount Meru is the legendary center of all existence  the axis mundi. It is:

The pillar that holds up the heavens

The home of the gods

A place of immense power where different realms meet

Often described with dazzling architecture, rotating mechanisms, and divine beings descending upon it

Some esoteric researchers refer to the “Mouth of Meru” as the entrance, gateway, or womb-like base of the mountain  a portal through which gods, energies, and otherworldly craft enter our world.

Now here’s the mind-bending connection: What if Mount Meru is Mount Zion?

Mount Zion: The Biblical Cosmic Mountain

In Scripture, Mount Zion is far more than a hill in Jerusalem. It is repeatedly called:

The “holy mountain”

The “mount of assembly in the far north” (Isaiah 14:13  a phrase that echoes Meru’s polar/cosmic positioning in other traditions)

The place where God dwells and rules (Psalm 48, Psalm 132)

The future site of major end-times activity

God repeatedly interacts with mountains in dramatic, technological-sounding ways:

Mount Sinai: Thick clouds, fire, smoke, thunder, lightning, trumpet blasts, and a voice so powerful the mountain itself quaked. Moses met God in the thick darkness at the top while the people saw what looked like a consuming fire (Exodus 19-24).

The Temple Mount / Zion: The glory of the Lord would fill the temple like a cloud so dense the priests couldn’t stand to minister (1 Kings 8).

These aren’t ordinary mountains. They function as portals and landing sites.

The Brass Portal Theory

In the steampunk-apocalypse reading, Mount Meru/Zion is the primary docking station for the biblical craft we’ve been discussing:

The Pillar of Cloud/Fire would hover and descend here.

Ezekiel’s wheel-within-wheel throne-chariot could dock at its peak.

The fiery chariots that took Elijah and protected Elisha operated in connection with these holy mountains.

In the end times, the final descent of the Lord “on the clouds” with power and glory is prophesied to dramatically involve Jerusalem and Zion.

Imagine a colossal brass-and-copper mountain mechanism  gears the size of cities turning deep inside, steam vents releasing glowing clouds, and massive airships locking into place at the summit like a cosmic port. The “Mouth of Meru” becomes the literal gateway from which these craft emerge or into which they disappear.

This mountain isn’t just symbolic. It’s the strategic high ground in the final battle.

Connecting the Dots

The forces of Gog and Magog (and whatever else is coming with them) march to surround the Camp of the Saints and the beloved city  very likely centered around this cosmic mountain. Meanwhile, the real divine response comes from above and from the mountain itself: fire from heaven, descending glory, and the full unveiling of the Steampunk machinery that has been hidden in plain sight throughout the Bible.

The Camp of the Saints isn’t just surviving  they’re positioned near the ultimate portal.

Part 4: The Full Steampunk Apocalypse – Putting It All Together

🚨 The gears have aligned. The smoke is thick. The final act is here.

We’ve followed the trail through the brass and fire:

Part 1: The Camp of the Saints surrounded by global hordes in the last great siege.

Part 2: The skies filled with biblical UFOs  pillars of cloud and fire, wheels within wheels, chariots of fire  all reinterpreted as steampunk-style aerial craft with glowing metal, spinning mechanisms, and steam-shrouded glory.

Part 3: The cosmic mountain where Mount Meru and Mount Zion become one  the ultimate brass portal and docking station for heavenly (or counterfeit) technology.

Now it all converges into one epic, apocalyptic vision.

The Steampunk Endgame

In Revelation 20:9, the forces of deception march across the earth and surround the Camp of the Saints and the beloved city. The pressure is total. The siege seems unbreakable.

Then… fire comes down from heaven.

Picture the full scene in steampunk glory:

Massive brass airships and clockwork motherships descend through thick clouds of glowing steam and smoke. Gigantic interlocking wheels eyes all around  spin with impossible precision. Fiery chariots pulled by biomechanical horses of flame streak across the sky. From the summit of the cosmic mountain (Meru/Zion), the ultimate portal opens. The “Mouth of Meru” unleashes divine counter-technology as the mountain itself rumbles like a colossal engine.

The same Pillar that guided Moses now stands as a towering beacon of protection. The same glory that filled the Tabernacle now engulfs the Camp of the Saints. The remnant those who refused the great deception  are shielded while the invading forces are consumed.

This isn’t gentle theology. This is high-octane, brass-plated, steam-belching cosmic warfare.

The Deception and the Remnant

In the end times, the “Cloud People” return in full force. They may appear as benevolent saviors, luminous beings, or advanced extraterrestrials offering solutions to humanity’s crises. Their craft will be beautiful, their technology godlike. Many will fall for the spectacle.

But the Camp of the Saints sees the gears behind the glory.

They recognize the difference between:

The true divine intervention prophesied in Scripture

The counterfeit “signs and wonders” warned about in 2 Thessalonians 2 and Matthew 24

They stand firm around the beloved city, near the cosmic mountain, while the skies light up with the real Steampunk Apocalypse.

The Message for Today

This series isn’t just wild speculation it’s a call to discernment.

As the siege tightens in our world, cultural, spiritual, and technological.... the Camp of the Saints is forming. The brass chariots and cloud craft are already being sighted again. The mountain portal is stirring.

Will you be inside the camp when the final descent happens? Or swept up in the grand illusion?

The Bible has always been the ultimate red pill. Ancient prophets saw the machines. They described the gears, the fire, the smoke, and the glory the best way they could.

Now the rest of us get to watch it unfold.

The Steampunk Apocalypse is not coming.

It has been in motion for thousands of years.

Thank you for riding through this entire series with me.

What do YOU think now that it’s all connected?

Is this purely spiritual warfare?

Advanced ancient/future technology?

Fallen angelic steampunk machinery?

Or something even bigger?
